OCI registration certificate and visa have got to be re-issued by availing this service, each time a new passport is issued up to the completion of 20 years of age and once after completing 50 years of age.
-Renewed Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) card can be obtained by anyone who previously held OCI card.
-OCI cardholders are required to get their OCI card reissued only once in life after the age of 20 years.
-Online UPDATION of New passport and Latest photo to be done every time a new passport is issued up to the age of 20 and once after the age of 50.
-Generally, it takes 6 weeks to get acknowledgement for requested UPDATION online. A person can travel to India without waiting for the acknowledgment.
